Lamborghini Gallardo "Galaxy Warrior"

You can spin its name however you want, but the name "Galaxy Warrior" doesn’t necessarily sound like something you’d want to put in your car. Sure, it could pass as the name of the Ultimate Warrior’s long-lost cousin.
But as a styling package for the Lamborghini Gallardo? Nope. Not good at all.
True to its name, this "Galaxy Warrior" Gallardo that’s being sold on Ebay Germany does look the part of an intergalactic machine from the world of Warrior. But here on this planet, where the Gallardo is considered one of the most beautifully-designed cars in the world, there’s no room for robotic-looking Italian supercars, even if its an attention-grabber in every lost sense of the word.
In any case, the people responsible for this ungodly sight is a company called ATS Automotive, which gave the Gallardo an aerodynamic kit that includes a new front bumper, new side skirts, a number of new air vents, a new rear bumper, an aftermarket rear wing, and new twin-pipe exhaust system, and a new set of alloy wheels.
While it does sound like a package that’s got everything you need in an aero kit, the visual result of the whole car leaves a lot to be desired.
About the only thing redeemable about this car is that it still comes with the Gallardo’s 5.2-liter V10 engine that produces an output of 560 horsepower. Other than that, and that alone, we’d leave this one alone.

2012 Ducati Monster 1100 EVO

Ducati will be unveiling the 2012 Monster 1100 EVO at the New York International Motorcycle Show (IMS). This new model will be the new flagship for the air-cooled Monster family and sales will begin in the Summer 2011 at a price of $11,995.
The 2012 Ducati Monster 110 EVO is powered by a 100 HP Desmodue Evoluzione engine - the most powerful air cooled Ducati ever. The new 1100 EVO is offered with the new "Ducati Safety Pack", a simple and effective combination of adjustable Ducati Traction Control (DTC) and ABS brakes designed to aid rider safety. Also the new APTC wet clutch which ensures quiet operation and long life will be on the equipment list.
The new APTC wet clutch works with a race-like ‘slipper’ system which reduces the destabilizing effect of the rear-end under aggressive down-shifting, and compared with other wet clutch used so far by Ducati, features an additional cush-drive damper mechanism which smoothes the repeated transition from drive to over-run during stop-start traffic.

Yamaha YZR-M1 WGP 50th Anniversary Edition

Yahama has been around GP racing for the past 50 years and to commemorate this silver anniversary, the Japanese motorcycle maker will be unveiling a special livery for the YZR-M1 motorbike. Likewise, this special livery will also dress up the brand’s MotoGP racebikes at Assen TT and Laguna Seca.
As for what you need to look out for with the bike, the “YZR-M1 WGP50th Anniversary Edition” livery will come in a unique red and white paint scheme that celebrates the two-tone livery of the Yamaha Factory Racing team. There’s also a special 50th anniversary logo that will be used by the team this season. This logo will be displayed on the fuel tank of the 2011 YZR-M1 bike, as well as on the uniforms of all the members of the Yamaha Factory Racing Team, and team riders Jorge Lorenzo, the reigning MotoGP World Champion and 2010 Rookie of the Year Ben Spies.
The bike will make its official debut at a special event on June 22, 2011 where it will be broken in by no less than Lorenzo and Spies themselves. That event is still a little over a month away so in the meantime, you can check out photos and a video of the special edition bike.

2011 Lamborghini Murcielago LP720-4

The departed Murcielago is no longer part of Lamborghini’s future, but it certainly doesn’t mean that we’ve seen the last of this highly popular supercar. That much you can be sure of when tuning companies like Wheelsandmore are still around.
The German tuning firm famous for some pretty sick projects in the past have outdone themselves yet again with their new program for the Murcielago LP670-4 SV. The project is fittingly called the Murcielago Final Edition, a nice homage to the recently discontinued Lamborghini supercar. And in choosing what type of Murcielago to work on, Wheelsandmore opted for the grand-daddy of them all, the Super Veloce.
The fact that there’s only 350 units of this kind in the world already makes the Super Veloce a rare piece of Lamborghini, but Wheelsandmore’s program for the supercar adds another element of exclusivity. Aesthetically, the changes include dressing up the car in an olive green color scheme with matching skull logos on both sides of the door. We’re not entirely sure what the skull logos are doing there, but we’re also not about to question these guys on their own project.
